From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A childhood secret club is an informal form of organization that tends to interest children aged approximately 8 to 11.

I think that 11 is too old for a Childhood Secret Club, and 7 year olds can also be of its interest. Canadianshoper 01:37, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added "Written material about these secret clubs, such as the external links listed below, mentions the ages of eight and nine years old particularly often. While slightly older children may also participate in secret clubs, they would be less expected to use fantasy elements in their activities." 141.154.22.79 18:35, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

clubs not club

[edit]

As there is not one such club but many I think the article should be renamed childhood secret clubs. More accurate. And the renaming will leave a redirect page behind automatically. Paul Beardsell 03:23, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. We shouldn't use the plural form just because "chldhood secret club" is a common noun and not a proper noun. It should be singular unless it was actually about different kinds of secret clubs, or if it was a list of many individual clubs. ref: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Naming_conventions#Prefer_singular_nouns 151.203.52.171 19:28, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
