Can someone please help in explaining if the Shaurya Chakra, the third highest peacetime gallantry award offered by the Indian Army, is ranked higher than the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, the highest award for adventure sports given by the Govt. of India? The Tenzing Norgay award, I read, is considered equivalent to the Arjuna Award, the second highest award given by the Govt. of India for all sports in general. If one were thus to rank the awards in terms of precedence, which one would rank higher? Shaurya Chakra or the Tenzing Norgay award? Thanks. Apandeyhp89 (talk) 19:46, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
