As this article is now, it gives the impression that Chevron Hall of Stars was a standalone program, when actually it was originally titled Stage 7 but was retitled to show the sponsor's name. The Stage 7 article gives some information about the retitling, based on 'Stage' Into Eleven Marts for Drewry's, an article in the December 15, 1956, issue of the trade publication Billboard.
I wonder whether it would not be better to merge the content of this article into Stage 7 and create a redirect for Chevron Hall of Stars to point to Stage 7. Eddie Blick (talk) 22:24, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- A letter from Four Star Films says, in part, "The only film series we have been producing for initial broadcast in syndication this year is called Stage 7. It has been released in 1956 on behalf of Standard Oil Company of California in the Western States under the title "Chevron Hall of Stars"." Eddie Blick (talk) 21:05, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
