Music

[edit]

'Cheese' is used in the UK to describe certain music, though the term seems somewhat ill-defined. I'm not sure if there's a different US term, or Wikipedia simply lacks an article on it. 94.194.66.92 (talk) 15:31, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added "Cheese/Cheesy, used in the context of Kitsch but not always used negatively by fans (for example, when talking about commercial dance music, 'guilty pleasure' pop records and reality TV" in regards to this.

Jam

[edit]

We could do with a disambiguation link to ‘Fruit Preserve’ and a mention in the ‘fruit preserve’ article that thick jams are known as ‘cheeses’ on occasion. For example, if you Google ‘damson cheese’, ‘crabapple cheese’ and ‘quince cheese’ you’ll come across many hits.Overlordnat1 (talk) 11:36, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
