the text to "cheek to cheek" is not complete

2nd verse

Devil ----- old blue devil I feel close to you in my odd dancing shoes Toes and feet - one terrible blistering, aching leak with my honey outdoor dancing cheek to cheek.

Maker ------ my shoemaker Take a thread around your neck, get set to work Manufacture broader flappers nice and chic Should I go again our dancing cheek to cheek.

Can't you see that burning fire? I can't help pull' out a shriek But it doesn't bother me at all while dancing cheek to cheek. Go to hell you bloody pinchers, get parched in Satan's freak Never would I mourn about you, barefoot dancing cheek to cheek.

A Question

[edit]

Does it have to be a studio recording to be added to the list of people who have recorded the song? Because I know of a recorded live version by Dorothy Collins. Retro Agnostic (talk) 14:32, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Presently, the name of the relevant section is "Recorded versions". There's no reason (that I can see) that a recording should be excluded from that section just because it's live. Will insert the Dorothy Collins version into the section. Pololei (talk) 22:58, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There’s also a version by Danny Kaye and Miss Piggy in the Muppet Show. Should we add that too? --AsterRoc (talk) 02:46, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Any body knows where can i find the score? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.143.222.47 (talk) 14:37, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a photo of Rogers and Astaire from Swing Time and not Top Hat? Or is the photo from Top Hat?
