Giant Cheddars
[edit]Regarding this section (added here by CuriousHorse (whose response would be useful here):-
I typed "Giant Cheddars" into Google, but it doesn't come up with a product of that name. Is it supposed to be a name- informal or otherwise- for the original full-size (i.e. non-"Mini") Cheddars? If so, who calls them that?
It also implies that "Baked Cheddar Cheese Biscuits" (in bold) is their official name. Is there any evidence of this?
The official site contradicts this. The packet actually says "Baked Cheddars Cheese Biscuits", in a manner that suggests the surrounding words are descriptive rather than part of the name.
Meanwhile, the manufacturer's own text says "Jacobs Cheddars - The big brother of the Mini Cheddar, these delicious, crisp cheesebiscuits [sic?] prove bigger can be better!"

Judging by the packets in the shops, the larger ones seem to primarily just go by 'Cheddars' (at least, that's the most prominent part of the title). A 'Giant Cheddar' would presumably have to be rather larger than the usual biscuit size, not sure where that term would have come from. 90.206.228.86 (talk) 11:27, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Manufacturer?
[edit]ALL food products mad by any food processer should state the main (or all) ingredients and the current manufacturer. Many of these sound like adverts. 70.49.18.153 (talk) 17:13, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
