There is no evidence that Ostrowski didn't like Chebotaryov's proof

The claim that Chebotaryov's proof didn't please Ostrowski must be based on a misunderstanding; there is nothing in the source Stevenhagen et al. [1] supporting it. In fact, page 29 there says the following:

Chebotarëv himself calls it (...) "a very modest result," mentioning the compliments the "gloomy and sombre" Ostrovskiǐ made to him on its account, and observing that it "does meet the requirements of mathematical esthetics."

The wrong attribution of the last quote to Ostrowski was already contained in the very first version of this Wikipedia page (27 March 2013). The change from "does meet" to "does not meet" was made on 4 April 2015, probably in an attempt to correct the previous contradictory text without consulting the source. 108.161.114.197 (talk) 00:34, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
