Merge to ChatGPT
[edit]There is nothing unique in paid version, there is no pages for example for paid version of Duolingo or any other application. The article is a redundant stub that says that Plus costs 20$, has plugins, and is available in several countries (that's already outdated). Artem.G (talk) 07:11, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- Agreed. The topic overlaps significantly with the main page and does not contain much that couldn't be (or isn't already) included in the main page. StereoFolic (talk) 18:46, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- The main ChatGPT article is so crazy massively long (and fair enough!) that I think it is the only logical conclusion that ChatGPT Plus should have its own dedicated section to discuss the main aspects of it. As seriously now, anybody who has used ChatGPT Plus realizes it is a quite different experience to the free version, and as you should know if you follow all the many news reports about ChatGPT Plus as well. Undoubtedly it deserves its own article, as its own very unique product. (yes, the current contents of the page is rather lightweight, but the scope to expand it is massive) Mathmo Talk 13:25, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- and what do you think should be on that page? Negative and positive reactions to it, like on the main page? But people rarely say "ChatGPT Plus can change education", just "ChatGPT can change education", etc. Why do you think a section wouldn't work for Plus? It's only differences are better model and plugins, but the product is the same. Artem.G (talk) 14:10, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- IMO when people talk about the serious industrial and professional applications of ChatGPT they are typically talking about ChatGPT Plus, since the models and integrations there are much more powerful. The free version of ChatGPT is more a popularization demo than a really useful product. Are there any other products which have separate pages for their free and paid tiers? I can't find any. StereoFolic (talk) 14:26, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- "IMO when people talk about the serious industrial and professional applications of ChatGPT they are typically talking about ChatGPT Plus"
- Exactly, it's quite different to the free ChatGPT! Mathmo Talk 12:12, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- yeah, paid versions usually have more abilities and so can be 'quite different', but the product is still the same, a chatbot that can do smth. what it can do varies on your decision to pay or use free version. Artem.G (talk) 12:33, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- I think you misunderstand my point. The two are commonly spoken about synonymously, which supports merging. Please consider again my request for examples of any other products which have separate pages for their free and paid tiers. StereoFolic (talk) 12:35, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
