Admission of slavery in supply chain

[edit]

Today's Guardian report might be used here or in another Thailand article: "CP Foods admits that slave labour is part of its supply chain." http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2014/jun/10/supermarket-prawns-thailand-produced-slave-labour Please note the source also refers to these main retailer chains: "Walmart, Carrefour, Costco and Tesco," "Aldi, Morrisons, the Co-operative and Iceland". -84user (talk) 09:38, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And not only this, but also this report made by BBC, and strangely enough, ignored by WP for many months: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01q5cf4! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.135.165.160 (talk) 10:52, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And do not forget THIS: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2294246/Love-eating-prawns-Youll-right-tell-THEY-fed-on.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.135.165.160 (talk) 10:58, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The most relevant article is probably Human trafficking in Thailand. --Paul_012 (talk) 14:10, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Is 'Controversy' really the right title for involvement in human trafficking and slavery? A more company friendly word for that is hard to find! Regards, 142.244.23.245 (talk) 17:15, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
