Repeat of key fields in Template:Also starring
In concept, the template is given within the arguments to the ShortSummary= field of the {{episode list}} template to document AND/OR LINK guest actors and characters defined as follows:
  • Recurring supporting characters (Rsc#),
  • 'Credited guest stars' (Cgs#), [Credited before main episode content, most often after the first commercial break]
  • 'Guest supporting characters' (Gsc#) [minor supporting characters making a brief supporting appearance credited only in the end credits of episode.]
and
  • 'Special guest stars (Sgs#) –(Normally long term recurrent characters such as family members such as parents or grandparents that occur a few times a season or so.
  • Rsc#, Cgs#, Gsc# all work the same and will display five names or phrases delineated by a trailing comma which can be formatted using imbedded HTML (e.g. "<br />" etcetera).
  1. stub together table (build Ep #, EpTitle, Ep Writer(s), Ep Director(s) and Airdate data lines in table.
  2. In the ShortSummary field (which we abuse by shoving the whole world inside it.)
    1. install stub {{also starring}} in place (with season's Costars as default data)
    2. Link title using {{Chrmd}} to old page (now a redirect) as arguement 4=
    3. update all redirects to point to new section on this article page (test)
  3. Incorporate material from Data Mining the old article to fill in
    1. Guest appearances as:
Recurring supporting cast (billed co-stars usually by half-season or season, such as Darryl, Cole, Leo, Bob Cowan, Elise, etc.) (Rsc1, ..., Rsc5)
Special Guest Stars (Sgs1, ..., Sgs5)— most often name guest star or close (ghostly) family members
Credited Guest Stars (Cgs1, ..., Cgs5— most often name guest star just after first commercial break, during main title credits.
Guest supporting characters (Gsc1, ..., Gsc15)— most often non-name "short" or supporting role guest star. These are generally the almost nameless, nearly faceless victims, demons, and real world characters (people in a crowd with a line to say, policemen, nurse, etc.)
