Revert

[edit]

@Sportsfan 1234: These two references were the ones that were removed. They accompanied the following redundant sentence, At the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, Cavanagh qualified to compete in the gold medal match and guarantee herself at least a silver medal. When you compete in a finals of any tournament, you're guaranteed at least a silver medal, that's how tournaments work. If the only bout being mentioned is the final, then there's no point saying she qualified to compete in it. You can't compete in a finals without qualifying for the finals. It doesn't need stating, this isn't simplewiki.

Unless you have a logical explanation for the reversion (this is far from logical), I'll be reverting back to the much improved version. Cheers. – 2.O.Boxing 16:42, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You must qualify for the finals, there is no problem in stating that. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 17:09, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Would you mind actually addressing the points I raised? That reply is wholly insufficient. Seeing as this appears to be your only issue, I'm reverting back to the version before I removed the sentence and accompanying references. – 2.O.Boxing 17:46, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
