NOT a "Superbowl Champion"

[edit]

I deleted "Superbowl XL Champion" because he didn't play in it. Ben Rothlisberger played quarterback the whole game and Charlie was 3rd string. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomcat4680 (talkcontribs) 11:57, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie was still on the team and at the game, therefore he qualifies as a champion. Blackngold29 13:34, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He was a not third string during Super Bowl XL he was 2nd, and if it wasn't for 2 games played by Batch that season and WON they wouldn't of made it to Super Bowl XL. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.131.23.51 (talk) 23:22, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth

[edit]

Since Charlie Batch is still playing for the NFL, I don't think his real date of birth is 1928 and I don't think he's 83 years old and still playing football. I believe his correct date of birth is 12/5/1974. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.184.154.224 (talk) 00:30, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Game Winning Drive

[edit]

Stop making it seem better than it was, it was a regular season game. Calm down. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.93.206.110 (talk) 00:47, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Professional Career Section

[edit]

This needs to be edited down. Highlight all the relevant things (contract extensions), but leave out individual game efforts unless a personal, team, or NFL record was surpassed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.244.42.5 (talk) 16:11, 3 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nilesh Shah is Batch's Father

Stop removing the edit, and go back to living vicariously through professional athletes.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.120.250.163 (talk) 02:22, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Highest single game total quarterback rating

[edit]

I see that the cited source says 99.9 and that the highest number on ESPN's site: NFL Total QBR - All-Time Best Games is 99.8 (twice, Lamar Jackson #6 and Carson Palmer #15). But why is Ben Roethlisberger ranked #1 on that list with a QBR of 99.2?

At the bottom of the ESPN list, it says: "All-Time Best Games: To qualify, a player must play a minimum of 20 action plays" – wbm1058 (talk) 18:26, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
