This article is full of irrelevant and self-congratulatory language, and the tone is more suited for a historical documentary than for an encyclopaedia. 68.58.197.172 (talk) 06:42, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- Please give us an example.--ukexpat (talk) 17:03, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
- The tone of this article reads like it was written by a Navy public affairs officer: "North Charleston witnessed the final closure of its Naval Base and Shipyard and the City bid farewell to most of the mighty vessels of war that had long home ported at its piers"..."a Change of Charge ceremony on October 22, 2004, well ahead of the mandated deadline as a result of the hard work and team focus of both Hospital and Dental Clinic staff members..." The article can be cut in half if the verbose language is boiled out. K72ndst (talk) 22:06, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
