Smiles (1878)

[edit]

The text stated (1) that Peach concentrated on farm work, leaving his brothers to run the inn, and (2) that his appointment to the Revenue was supported by Lord Westmoreland, citing Smiles (1878) for both. I can find no reference to either of these statements in the Smiles book, and have removed them and re-worded the text. If anyone has a reliable source for these, of course they can go back in. I'm going to add some material to this section, including more images, and also add more detailed citations with full-text links. Discussion welcome, as always.
