Tulk v Moxhay [1848] EWHC Ch J34
[edit]Lord Cottenham decided one of the most important cases in the English law of real property, Tulk v Moxhay. It decided that restrictive covenants could exist as real property interests rather than merely personal interests. It seems that some mention should be made of it on the page, in addition to whatever other major judgments he gave. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.44.0.54 (talk) 19:22, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Excellent. Please add it, with a reference. Bmcln1 (talk) 20:32, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Date of Birth?
[edit]This article gives Lord Cottenham's date of birth as April 29, without reference. The apparent source, the catalog of Cambridge alumni, says that he died on April 29, 1851, age 70, and calculates an approximate date of birth as 1781. Where did this precise date of birth come from? - It's thus in ODNB. Added. --217.155.32.221 (talk) 16:58, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
