HMS San Juan
[edit]I have a letter dated May 22 1812 that records that Commodore Penfold was also commanding HMS San Juan in Gibraltar at this date. The San Juan was one of four surviving ships that had been captured by the British at Trafalgar. The letter was signed by the ships Master, J. Settle, previously of the Sabine HistoryGuy60 (talk) 20:48, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
