This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because in the sport of auto racing, death has always loomed over its competitors. Charles Ogle is one of less than fifty drivers who were killed in NASCAR. Their deaths epitomize the devotion it's competitors have. Ogle was not well known in his time but his death naturally creates a great deal of curiosity around him as an individual. Daytona is a significant venue in auto racing and those who have died there have a large amount of significance in their own right. Auto racing historians will appreciate the information about this individual that has been compiled from newspaper archives.
