Fate of herbarium
[edit]Fairman's collections seem to be split between Cornell (cf. here, but I can't any more details) and NYBG (this paper is not so useful: only lists him within a list of collectors; it's not clear whether it got there via other herbaria, like Ellis'). Circéus (talk) 01:41, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the Cornell link, I added it. They also have a pic of him here, but I think I'd have to write them for permission to use it. Can't make that DOI work for me though, is there another link?
- There seems to be an issue with the springerlink Brittonia DOIs. Here's the JSTOR 2807788 version. Circéus (talk) 02:51, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think mentioning the NYBG with the info we have is warranted. He is merely listed as a collector, wih no connection made to his actual herbarium. As I mention above, they might just be specimens he sent to Ellis or the Garden, not his herbarium as such. Circéus (talk) 19:25, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
