Lafayette or New Orleans?

[edit]

The place of birth is inconsistent. The article says he was born in Lafayette, the bio box says he was born in New Orleans. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Historyeducator (talkcontribs) 08:24, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lord Boustany

[edit]

I'm shocked that his apparent attempt to gain British Lordship isn't included on this page, since it's part of public record due to him filing suit against the British conmen that offered it to him. 24.252.123.170 (talk) 03:45, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life

[edit]

This is my first contribution to a Wikipedia Talk Page so it is possible that I am writing in the wrong place but hasn't anyone realized how biased towards the incumbent Congressman this is? Seriously, his biography sounds like and probably is an extraction from his campaign website or was written by a Republican campaignperson. Have it edited to make it neutral. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.80.23 (talk) 20:32, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The biography was taken from his website, I removed the copied part in accordance with Wikipedia policies. Hekerui (talk) 12:59, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wednesday it the 9th of September, not the 8th. Not sure why Wiki won't let me edit that section though, don't really care if my IP gets posted... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.39.245.62 (talk) 14:54, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first edit to Wikipedia, and so I am not sure how to properly submit additional information. However, I feel that in the personal life section, it should be mentioned that is his medical career Rep. Boustany was the defendant in at least three malpractice lawsuits. This fact is well-sourced and of interest to the general reader. As an example of sourcing, see the link: http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/0909/Boustanys_malpractice_history.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by TamerlaneWest (talkcontribs) 01:56, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
