Unencyclopaedic language

"After much posturing, maneuvering and publicity-seeking by Briggs" seems like unencyclopaedic language to me, the more so as the two references for this sentence are 1906 or earlier. --David J. Green (Mathematician) (talk) 15:05, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
