Two Articles in One?
[edit]I don't want to immediately edit this page (though if no interest/argument is made against my doing so, I shall), but surely the entry for Chaereas and Callirhoe should be entirely separate from this entry on Chariton himself (much as with Xenophon of Ephesus and his Ephesian Tale)? -> Wiper 17:24, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Title of the novel
[edit]I have been presumptuous enough to change the title of his novel, where referenced, from "the loves of Chaereas and Challirhoe" to simply "Chaereas and Challirhoe", in keeping with the standard name attributed to the novel. If anyone would care to give a valid reason that this should not be acceptable, please make it known! -> Wiper 17:24, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Christian interest
[edit]Is it worth mentioning that part of this story has interested scholars of early Christianity, because of its several similarities to the possibly contemporaneous gospel accounts of the empty tomb of Jesus? HuPi (talk) 23:57, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
