Removal of bonafide sources

A bot has removed as "spam" sources that were added as source citations due to their pertinence to what is discussed in the text of the article. The material removed is: << </ref>[1] >>

I do not see how bonafide legitimate source citations can be considered "spam". That assumption here seems preposterous.

Notes

  1. ^ Beau Higgins, in "A Pinter Play – 'Betrayal'", broadwayworld.com, Mar. 2007, accessed 6 Sept. 2007, also reviews this production, which opened on 9 Mar. 2007 and ran through 15 Apr. 2007. Three other production revs. appear on the Palm Beach Dramaworks website; in one of them, Jan Sjostrom, "Dramaworks Stays True to Fine 'Betrayal'", Palm Beach Daily News, 19 Mar. 2007, accessed 6 Sept. 2007, states: "The show is impeccably directed by J. Barry Lewis, who ensures that no scene is overplayed and every unspoken nuance is communicated. And there are plenty of nuances in this play. In fact, what's left unsaid is as important as the dialogue."

Shenton

Hi, I noticed you removed the Shenton reference, perhaps because the existing link was broken. the article can be found here: http://blogs.thestage.co.uk/shenton/2007/10/a-matinee-a-pinter-play/ Jezhotwells (talk) 21:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot. I updated it. --NYScholar (talk) 07:50, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

(cont.) I had also removed the material because it wasn't really necessary and because it came from a blog; but I've revised and then reincorporated the source citation. Shenton's blog may not be citable here as a source citation for documenting the statement per se, but it is possibly of related interest otherwise. I've documented the text with book source citation. --NYScholar (talk) 07:54, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
