Contested deletion

This page should not be speedily deleted because... all the article is well documented and the citations verifiable. NPOV

This Article is claiming to be a report on a drug cartel. Actually, it is a number of statements, that accuse former President of Bolivia of being the boss of a drug cartel. This would normally be a ground for speedy deletion, this proposal was not accepted though. Bolivia has been called a narcostate since late 80s. As far as I know, it was during the time of the government of MAS, that for the first time also people that belong to the governmental party were condemned for drug deals. To my opinion (and this is of course a POV, exactly like the article), this speaks rather for an effort against a long existing drug state. Instead, the article only accuses former President of Bolivia. Accordingly, this is NOT an article about some drug-cartel, this is actually a libel against a living public personality (and a LEGAL party of this country)...

It should also be pointed out, that the movement behind Morales tried (and managed) to legalize coca, letting cocaine illegal and once more, that Bolivia used to be a narco state much longer before the rise of MAS...

Totally different eras and context. After the return to democracy in the 80's Bolivia was no longer considered a Narco-State. The expulsion of the DEA in Morales administration was a new turning point. Ají Picante (talk) 21:00, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
