Location
[edit]Where is the power station really located? The coordinates just point to the harbour. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 19:07, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- The coordinates are quite clear due to some pictures on Ansaldo and Metka reference pages. On a Munters reference page it is stated that Chania consists of two ABB GT8C, one Fiat TG20 and one GE Frame 5 turbines. That sums up to four machines that have not been mentioned here. However, the satellite picture view shows possible seven machines in total. Has anyone knowledge about the current extensions of Chania?
Fuel source?
[edit]The article states that the plant runs on natural gas. Where does that come from? Are there gas sources on the island? LNG by tanker ship? Pipeline from offshore/another island/mainland? Crete has no relevant information, and googling for "natural gas crete" only brings up plans to exploit sources in the region. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 21:52, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
