A note on sources
[edit]There are few published sources of information on Chandigre village. I have relied on sources covering the Garo tribe, West Garo Hills district and the nearby Rengsanggri village when it is reasonable to assume that these apply to Sasatgre. The detailed ethnographic study by R. Burling covers Rengsanggri village. This village is 14 km from Chandigre, in the same CD Block, at a similar elevation.
The text is similar to the Sasatgre article that I wrote recently, with facts, figures and images changed. Some information specific to Chandigre has been added from the few references that I could find.
I hope over time editors will find sources and information specific to Chandigre to improve the article. --Tagooty (talk) 13:46, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
