The sentence that begins in the third line of the the section "The Return" is unclear. The sentence reads, "The soldiers left them, most of their supplies, and several Indian servants behind in the Tiwa town of Puaray and departed to return to Santa Barbara on June 31, 1582."

Did they depart in order to return to Santa Barbara on June 31, 1582, or did the in fact depart on June 31. If the former, then they must left earlier than June 31.nnIf the latter, then they could not have arrived in Santa Barbara on April 15, 1582, as stated three lines down in the article ("The eight remaining soldiers arrived in Santa Barbara on April 15, 1582.") — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.68.51.217 (talk) 16:42, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
