Who is this guy who wants to delete Chain of Strength?
[edit]If he knew anything about punk rock he would know that Chain is one of the most influential bands of their era. Chain of Strength, in the punk rock world, are just as important as some defensive lineman for some Redskins football team is in the sporting world. This pedestrian thinker obviously has some personal grudge against the band members or the alternative music world in general. Chain of Strength deserve all the accolade they get (which is plenty) and deserve a page on this site.
reasons for importance
[edit]In accordance with one of the criterion for a musical group that belongs on wikipedia...
"Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)."
Chain of Strength released an EP and an LP on Revelation Records, arguably the most important hardcore punk record label to date which released Gorilla Biscuits, Warzone, and Inside Out albums.
Also, the slogan "True Till Death", which they popularized if not invented is an important straight edge rallying cry. They are important if straight edge is important, if only for their additions to that particular movement (after all, an unpopular painter might warrant a wikipedia article if their paintings contributed to an important arts movement).
