The Japanese page for "karin": http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AB%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3

says Chaenomeles sinensis, which is not mentioned on the English page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Chaenomeles

Another dictionary gives me "Chinese Quince" as the translation of "karin", but that is Pseudocydonia sinensis: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Pseudocydonia

What is correct/incorrect here?

Chaenomeles sinensis has been reclassified as Pseudocydonia sinensis, so the Japanese page needs updating. SiGarb | Talk 18:22, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
