September 2023 article improvements
[edit]Hi everyone,
I've added a new section concerning the history of the CCA. That seemed like a pretty serious omission, now rectified. Please feel free to improve it though by adding significant moments to that history, supported by references. Please don't remove it without discussion though (I'm sure history sections have been deleted from this article before, which is a bit odd).
I renamed a section called "The Building" to "Location and Building" to better reflect the content of that section.
I also improved the quality of writing throughout most of the article, removing the "written like an advert" tag from the top of the article, which had been there since 2017. The "Activities" section is still quite poor though and was probably written by someone in-house, so I added a "written like an advert" tag to that section in the hopes of later improvement.
Next thing I'd like to do is remove some of those "External links" to news items but use those references as inline citations.
Feel free to join in, everyone! Angry Candy (talk) 12:00, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
- Update: I have taken care of the external links situation and added a tonne more inline citations from news media. Next, it would be nice to tackle the "Activities" section to make it less corporate/in-house and significantly more encyclopaedic. We simply need to describe in an NPOV way the current general activities of the CCA. Angry Candy (talk) 14:42, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
- Second update: I have rewritten the Activities section and removed the advert tag I placed there recently. Please have a look though and improve it, especially with media citations where possible. Angry Candy (talk) 11:30, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
