Improving lead section

[edit]

Hello, may I change the lead paragraph to this,

Central State Hospital, formally referred to as the Central Indiana Hospital for the Insane was a psychiatric treatment hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The hospital opened in 1848 to treat mentally ill patients of Indiana and was closed in 1994 due to allegations of patient abuse and funding issues. Some parts of the land were later used by Indiana Medical History Museum while some by Beckmann Theater to produce the play - Asylum. In 2007, real-estate developers purchased the land to build apartments, shops and lawns. The building is now called Central State Mansion and houses student apartments. --AlphaKGN (talk) 21:14, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

I changed the Infobox to an Infobox hospital, nothing was lost and more is shown about the hospital. WP:HOS -- Talk to G Moore 13:56, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Adding people to history section

[edit]

The history section does not include information about any of the staff or patients at the hospital. I plan to add a list of some of these people as a way of expanding the history section a bit. 21gaf (talk) 02:56, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
