Title for Isaac Newton Carleton

Isaac Newton Carleton was the Principal of the State Normal School in New Britain Connecticut (Now CCSU) 1869 to 1883. He received an Honorary MA from Yale University in 1872. He received an Honorary Ph.D. from Dartmouth in 1889.

I wondered if it would be appropriate to use the title Dr. in the Noteworthy Current and Former Faculty section of the article.

I'm not an academic, He is my ancestor.

Proposed merger

Needs to be done. -Falcon8765 (talk) 21:13, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

  • I guess this refers to the newsletter Africa Update. Given its total lack of sources and notability, I don't think it even should have a section in this article. As there is no ready merge to target, I am going to prod that article and (given that for months nobody seems to have cared about this) will remove the merge templates there and here. --Crusio (talk) 17:52, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
