Online Ambassador feedback
[edit]- The article has embedded links. This may be what you are referring to. This happens when you forget to add a <ref> before the weblink and a </ref> after the weblink. You don't want to add actual web addresses to the article prose, but rather as external links.
- The article needs an infobox. The logo image would go in the infobox.
- Don't add brackets before and after sources or web links, i.e., [ ]
- Some of the section titles are redundant and need to be changed. These include Overview and Official Mission Statement. It's kinda like when some people create a section called "Biography" within a biographical article.
- Change the Current Projects section title. We can't use terms that indicate a time period. The word "current" changes over time. What may be happening this week, may not be happening next week. We have to create articles that will stand the test of time and not require continual updating. Make sure all terms of time are removed from the article. Suggestions for the title? "Corporate focus" or "Programs and projects".
- Change "Board" to "Organizational leadership" or "Corporate leadership".
- Change "History" to "Organizational history".
- Change all section headings to sentence caps rather than initial caps.
- Eliminate the section "Criticisms" and incorporate the content into the prose. Sections of this nature suggest that the article may lack a neutral point of view.
- The article needs more wikilinks, which means more links to other articles on Wikipedia.
- The purpose of the lede is to adequately summarize the content in the article. I would recommend a couple more paragraphs, no more than four total. The lede paragraph needs to clearly indicate why the subject is significant or important. This is critical.
