Wrong POV redirect
[edit]Why Censorship in Poland redirects to the historical PRL censorship here?
There is substantial censorship in post 1989 Poland, see e.g. here or here or this book about post-1989 censorship of Polish artists (in Polish).
Zezen (talk) 11:40, 16 September 2015 (UTC) Yes, an incorrect redirect. WP covers censorship in the modern UK so it should also cover censorship in modern Poland (and in prewar Poland). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.254.57.141 (talk) 13:09, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

The bulk of the ref is using the case of censorship of Memoirs Found in a Bathtub (7 censor reviews!) to peek into inner works of Censorship in Communist Poland. Someone might want to use the ref in the article\. Staszek Lem (talk) 15:32, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
The title is incorrect. There never was a communist Poland.
[edit]In years 1948-1989 Poland was a socialistic country. Communism was somewhere on the foggy horizon, and no one seriously talked about it. I am old enough to remember that well. The title reflects two things: 1. In daily conversations, Poles often called apparatchiks as communists. It was more an insult, than accurate description. 2. Most politicians and political writers have no good understanding of differences between socialism and communism. My article linked below can serve as a long explanation of my position: https://henrykkowalczyk.com/capitalism-socialism-and-communism/. Henryk A.
