Not clear why this is WP:UNDUE from @[[User:Muboshgu|Muboshgu]. This back and forth was well covered and my edit discussed it from both sides. Propose edit instead of flat out delete? Helpingtoclarify (talk) 04:32, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What is the source verifying that Cenk Uygur comes from a "wealthy Turkish Muslim family"? Apparently his father, Dogan, was a rural olive and grape farmer in Kilis, a city in southern Turkey near the Syrian border, who scraped through his childhood to earn a scholarship to attend a technical college in Istanbul. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 17:47, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
At 1 hr., 6 min., 58 sec. in this video ( YouTube link v=QJtPROVsePk ), Uygur says that, back home in Kilis (southern Turkey), his father had no money, his family was saddled with debt, had no electricity in his house, and was "as poor as poor gets." 98.123.38.211 (talk) 17:55, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cenk made a speech at TPUSA Arizona on 21 December 2024, in which he said that Conservatives are more welcoming of outsiders than Liberals. Conservatives will welcome you if you agree with 5% of their beliefs while liberals will reject you if you only agree with them 95% of the time.
"And a lot of people on the left know this as well. If you agree with MAGA 5%, the answer you get is welcome, right? Come join us right? On the left if you disagree 5%, they go, get out of here. You’re a right winger. You’re a fascist. Right? But if you push enough people out and you guys welcome enough people in, eventually you win the popular vote. That’s what I warn them about. And that’s what happened, right?" [1]2603:8080:3EF0:7930:53D:78F3:1F43:4965 (talk) 17:19, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
