Get Together video.

[edit]

just a little question. Now i recently bought this video complication and with the Get Together video it is actually the "alternate video" on it. Now i went into Madonna's videograhpy and it said that the original video has been featured on DVD before and not the alternate version. So, do we add this somewhere in the article or something? --Sticky&Sweet12 (talk) 07:21, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree it should be noted that it is the alternate version as it definitely isn't the official single version of the video for Get Together. I'm watching it on the Celebration Dvd now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.12.243.134 (talk) 12:57, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Videos

[edit]

I bought this a few days ago, and my region four version is missing (most noticeably) either version of American Life, as well as This Used to Be My Playground, Fever, Love Don't Live Here Anymore, Nothing Really Matters, Dear Jessie, Oh Father, Drowned World/Subsitute For Love. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. And since this dvd is being touted as having so many videos not previously available on dvd, I think it should be in the article that it isn't a complete videography. I know myself I was quite disappoint to find it doesn't have every video on it. 60.234.135.164 (talk) 07:49, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mentioning the above in the article is completely unnecessary as there is a track listing. The collection does not claim to include every single one of Madonna's videos, so its up to the user to view the tracks and see for themselves which videos have not been included. There is also a superscript at the bottom of the tracklisting detailing the videos which are previously unavailable on DVD. --JWAD talk 19:37, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree and wish she would have included the uncut American Life, Dress You Up, and Dear Jessie which just got a European release. This would have put the number to 50 which would have included 25 on each disc! Some of the other missing videos are on other compilations which is fine, but I am hoping one day she releases a 4 disc box set, an unreleased song disc maybe a few songs from each CD and a complete set of all videos including the never before seen Holiday. Fan reception

[edit]

Should we put how badly it was recieved by fans, considering the many bad reviews about the technical aspects of this DVD? its crap. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.255.125.122 (talk) 11:04, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notes

[edit]

The notes on the tracklisting are not correct. "A" says those videos never appeared on a Madonna compilation and it's not true. THe note should be changed (and the videos carrying the note updated) to videos that had never been issued officially on any format. "Burning Up" was on her first video compilation for instance, "Justify My Love" was released as a video single. And so on. I think that a note of this kind is more important that one specifying which videos were never issued on DVD before. "Hung Up" and "Sorry" had actually been released on DVD before, on the CD+DVD edition of "Confessions On A Dance Floor" from Japan. UndDerMarlena (talk) 20:18, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
