Cave mammals

I've noticed that many Pleistocene carnivorans have names with "cave" stuck in front of them. Cave Hyena, Cave Bear, Cave Lion and probably others. As a different species

According to a recent study, the cave hyaena would be a different species (C. spelaea).--Rextron (talk) 06:47, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
