chicken vs egg

The first paragraph of this article says that the Cathedral Park neighborhood was named after the park, which was named after the arches of the St. Johns Bridge. But the second paragraph says that the Cathedral Park neighborhood existed on maps in 1911, before the bridge was ever built. Also the entry for the Park itself says it didn't exist until the 1970s.
