The links still work, but they should be relabelled, or unlabelled. Perhaps remove the '(YP)' leaving just an outlink icon? (I can make a bulk change like that easily enough). Scarabocchio (talk) 12:09, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Scarabocchio: Curious – they weren't working for me last night; now they do. How about something like the following:
@Ham II: I'll look at setting up templates for an Art UK artwork, patterned after {{IMDb title}}, and another for an Art UK artist, patterned after {{IMDb name}}. These would future proof us against address changes in the links, and allow us to define text formatting and the outlink text in a single place.
The ubiquity of the Art UK artwork URLs makes recognising the titles straightforward. The only problem is a malformed entry, eg for Batoni. I should be able to convert the whole page fairly easily once these are cleaned out. Scarabocchio (talk) 12:08, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How is Batoni's entry malformed? Is it because there are links to articles on each of the paintings? I think those are more important than the links to Art UK, myself. I wouldn't want something that too closely resembles {{IMDb title}} in appearance, with the title in an external link. I especially would like to keep the artists' names as internal links.
