[edit]

Hi there. A few years back, I visited Cascade Idaho and nearby Warm Lake (the biggest lie in Idaho) with some friends. We saw an old flatbed truck that looked like it was used on a farm or for forest service or some similar usage. The truck had/has a plaque on it that says, "On this site in 1897 nothing happened". We took a picture of the plaque, laughing at it, and not really thinking what it might mean. But it came up in conversation again, and I was wondering if anyone knows what happened in 1897 in Cascade? We were thinking that maybe it became a city then, but that's just a guess. The sign is a joke :) I've actually made a few of those signs, in places ranging from Idaho all the way down to the Florida Keys. I didn't make that particular one, but my grandparents have a house in Cascade and I've seen that particular one before... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.98.32.172 (talk) 00:08, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
