Link in "Nabal and Abigail" reference
[edit]The link in Reference 1. "Nabal and Abigail" should be http://hdl.handle.net/1842/2239 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaucho65 (talk • contribs) 12:51, 1 November 2013 (UTC)
Date of pool & of Maon: biblical?
[edit]- "Beside the agricultural importance of the site, Carmel had also a strategic importance because of it containing the only reliable natural spring of water in the immediate area,(ref.: AmitD) which waters are collected in a man-made pool. Carmel, in relation to Maon, lies directly to its north, within close proximity."
This paragraph doesn't seem to belong here ("Hebrew Bible"), but rather in the next section, "Roman and Byz. periods". Amit is quoted w/o an online access, can't be consulted online.
When was the man-made pool first built? Is it ever mentioned in the Hebrew Bible? Why are not one, but 2 pictures of the pool placed in the "Roman and Byz." section? Is Maon ever mentioned in the Hebrew Bible? If yes (for both), pls. say so & indicate where. Arminden (talk) 21:48, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
