I noted one verbatim sentence from Allmusic, that in turn had been taken verbatim from the Encyclopedia of Popular Music. That sentence is now properly attributed, but there are other sentences that are near-verbatim from other cited sources, including the LA Times piece [1]. It looks like this article was heavily edited by an editor who acted in good faith but did not understand Wikipedia's copyright/plagiarism rules fully (see WP:CV and WP:PLAG). Chubbles (talk)
