Drummer?
[edit]What's the story about the drummer thing? All that I've read about Cadona is that he was recruited two weeks prior to the debut gig. Some even say one week. 128.214.133.2 (talk) 12:09, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's in the article now, with references and all. Not a trace of anything regarding his period as a drummer can be found. The only "reference" that can be found is Mark Prindle's spaced out "review" of the 1978 demo tapes. That's it. 82.181.253.186 (talk) 06:31, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Legal name
[edit]Is anything known about his legal name?? If no information is known at all, the article should mention this explicitly. It seems very strange. 216.167.142.30 19:20, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
Residents?
[edit]I have never heard any claims about Carlos playing with The Residents. Please verify.- James
- Impossible. The Residents don't use names. If he played with them, he would have likely been credited as "Guitarist Resident" or something. --Applemask (talk) 17:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Contradictions
[edit]I've read numerous contradictory versions of the Cadona/Lithman/Residents story. All of the accounts agree on 'Snakefinger' Lithman and Cadona working together during the Residents period. Someone needs to come up with the goods. -J
"Infamous incident"
[edit]The "infamous incident at 924 Gilman" link on the page is dead. Some please find it or explain what happened. -Derek
- The much written about incident involved exhibitionist artist ms Anderson -- then vocalist for the Insaints -- and a banana. Cadona was witness to a masturbation incident during the Insaints performance at 924 Gilman. As this was a mixed-audience performance, he promptly called the fuzz. Anderson/The Insaints were charged with indecent exposure and fined. The incident was semi-widely reported in the 'zines at the time. I cannot find any quick reference to it now, however. Perhaps a link to the Insaints would be in order? --Tirolion 11:22, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- "Mixed audience" is unhelpfully ambiguous. As I understand it, the issue was that Gilman was an "all ages" venue. Thus, there were minors there in the audience. And the late Ms. Anderson was "inserting" tropical fruit on stage. This at a venue that had strict rules against alcohol... I also remember reading somewhere that she beat the rap because Gilman was actually a private club, by virtue of their insisting on memberships, in addition to admission fees. So I'm not sure about the "fine" part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.204.13.154 (talk) 08:00, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Christian punk rock opera?
[edit]What's the source on this? Also, any other sources of information regarding him? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.25.217 (talk) 18:21, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
Whole article has serious BLP problems
[edit]Granted it will be difficult to find reliable sources, given the nature of the punk rock scene... does Maximum Rock n Roll count as a reliable source for example? But anyway, this article states that the guy has a serious mental illness, and we can't say things like this about someone without a good source. MaxBrowne (talk) 08:36, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
