Inundated the rapids of Long-Sault?

[edit]

"This inundated the rapids of Long-Sault, transforming them into calm (deeper) water."

The Long Sault Rapids are in Cornwall. I am not an expert but I can not see how this damn affected water level in Laong Sault. Is there a reference? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zippyfx (talkcontribs) 20:22, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

After some research my confusion was that the Long-Sault rapids usually refers to The Long-Sault Rapids on the St. Lawrence river; At the time the dam was built there were rapids on the Ottawa river also named the Long-Sault Rapids [1]. Zippyfx (talk) 16:29, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
