COI Request to Update TAZ Graphic Novels With Current Release Info
[edit]An impartial editor has reviewed the proposed edit(s) and asked the editor with a conflict of interest to go ahead and make the suggested changes. |
I'm an intern with First Second and have been directed to make sure information regarding our authors and imprint is up-to-date. I'm disclosing this in accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy and am requesting these updates in compliance with the policy to the best of my understanding. I'm happy to change or stop my requests if it turns out that I'm in conflict with the policy.
The article appears to be out-of-date with regards to the Adventure Zone graphic novels, and currently states that "The fourth installment, The Adventure Zone: Crystal Kingdom, is set to be released July 13, 2021." This should be amended to say the novel WAS released on July 13, 2021 (via the Macmillan website, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble). Crystal Kingdom made the August 2021 NYT Bestseller list at #4 in Graphic Novels and Manga. Additionally, the fifth installment, The Adventure Zone: The Eleventh Hour, was released on February 21st, 2023 (via Macmillan, Amazon, Barnes and Noble). Leif Budget (talk) 19:14, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Go ahead: I have reviewed these proposed changes and suggest that you go ahead and make the proposed changes to the page. Shop pages are probably okay as sources here, because these are not controversial claims. However, remember that they are WP:PRIMARY sources and accordingly unsuitable in cases where there is a higher sourcing standard, for example in biographies of living persons. In this case, too, it would be better to provide secondary sources, which are very significantly preferred per WP:RS. Actualcpscm (talk) 12:18, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
