Cara Delevigne's real height is 5'8" reference:http://www.dnamodels.com/women/cara-delevingne/portfolio#/page/1 In an interview she states that she is 5'8" ref: http://intothegloss.com/2013/03/cara-delevingne-model/ Please change her height from 5'9.5" in the infobox to 5'8"

- Not done: Actually she says she is either 5'7" or 5'8: indicating that she isn't sure, and since the dnamodels link doesn't work for me I'm going to leave it how it is with the reference it has. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 06:22, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
The daughter of English Heritage ?!
According to wikipedia,English Heritage webpage : Legal status of English Heritage is a non-departmental public body ! and her region served is England. So she's kinda a public body ? served in England ! 5.118.166.181 (talk) 14:54, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Update needed
The reference to GTA V needs to be updated to past or present tense as the game has now been released and she does indeed provide the voice of one of the radio DJs in the game. 68.146.70.124 (talk) 20:11, 1 November 2013 (UTC)

Since Cara Delevinge is now apparently gay or bi, i guess we should add a category... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.248.25.51 (talk) 19:38, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
- "apparently" really is not good enough for Wikipedia. Per WP:BLPCAT: "Categories regarding religious beliefs or sexual orientation should not be used unless the subject has publicly self-identified with the belief or orientation in question, and the subject's beliefs or sexual orientation are relevant to their public life or notability, according to reliable published sources." Early career?
Why does her career history start at 2011?, (apart from a commercial when she was a kid). She was modelling in 2009 aged 17, for storm..and did a number of professional shoots in 2010 as well....shouldn't this be mentioned?... 86.190.136.108 (talk) 23:56, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
Done Presumably because nobody added it before, possibly because there was not a reliable source for it before. HelenOnline 06:22, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Eye colour
I just did this undo. The change by 206.74.145.98 contradicted the source (Storm model agency website). Most of the changes made by 206.74.145.98 are obviously wrong... with the exception of eye colour. She does appear to be blue-eyed in her photos. Any one got any further info on this? e.g. a source saying she wears blue contact lenses.
Of course, all models' pics are photoshopped now so it is possible that they just make the blue later... but it seems odd that they would do that if they then blatently state that her eyes are green.
Hmm...
Could be just an error on the Storm website. Yaris678 (talk) 14:22, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
I found on the fashion model directory that they said that her eyes are blue and looking at pictures of her, in 99% her eyes appear to be blue CaraDele (talk) 20:30, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
Why is her eye colour even listed to begin with? This whole article reads like her portfolio, it's ridiculous. I absolutely do NOT need to know which agencies she works for, what her eye and hair colour is, or what her measurements are. Are you going to modify Kathy Bates' article to include those details? No. So please, this is not necessary encyclopaedic information. If I were an industry professional looking to hire her, I'd go through professional channels, not wikipedia, and there is literally no other reason for me to care. 82.32.160.97 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 01:47, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Upcoming Films
When can we post to say that she is in the new sci-fi film 'Valerian'? Reference: http://variety.com/2015/film/news/dane-de-haan-cara-delevingne-luc-bessons-valerian-1201493105/ CaraDele (talk) 15:55, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
LGBT tag
I added an LGBT tag. She's dating a woman now (Annie Clarke), which is acknowledged in the article so that's good enough evidence, right? Mrmoustache14 (talk) 13:06, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- That was actually inappropriate. Look at the source in question, and you will see that the claim stems from a single tweet: "I am very much in love". That could mean and refer to anything. On top of that, Daily Mail is a tabloid. That makes it an inherently unreliable source. Nymf (talk) 17:32, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
- she has said it in vogue too now. Can we stop being so coy now please. The bar for homosexuality is always set high compared to other issues. And much as I personally dislike the Daily Mail it isn't true to call it a tabloid. Contaldo80 (talk) 19:07, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
- The article on Daily Mail describes it as a tabloid, so I think it is safe to say that it is a tabloid. The Vogue source is much better, though. Nymf (talk) 21:29, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Rumors/"controversy"
Sourcing anything about the alleged incident to tabloids such as The Daily Mail or The Sun is right out - they are known for loose editorial control and sensationalism. Moreover, anything which credits speculation or rumors or "believed to be" about what she may have dropped is simply unacceptable. Wikipedia is not a scandal sheet. Please verify and substantiate
There are reports that this individual has spoken out critically regarding the nature of modeling and the fashion industry, and in particular, on the way in which she was portrayed as a minor. If this story can be substantiated, I believe it is noteworthy, and helpful information. Here is an initial link, [1]. I invite individuals contributing regularly to this article to review it and further information on the subject, and add a section or otherwise add the information as an edit. Cheers. Thigh gapFurther body part / anatomical measurements in BLP articles
Cara Delevingne is mentioned in Thigh gap, but her (alleged) thigh gap is not mentioned here. Should it be? JDAWiseman (talk) 10:53, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- I can't really see how that would improve the page as it is not exactly useful information. In which section would you put it, for example? CaraDele (talk) 11:26, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- No opinion. It just seemed odd that Cara Delevingne is known for this somewhere else, on a page not mentioning many people, but not known for it on her own (quite short) page. If those with expertise about celebrity pages think it not worth mentioning, then I happily defer to that expertise. JDAWiseman (talk) 12:00, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
- There is a difference between the decision to propagate controversial information in individual articles, and whether the related topic of discussion (on the controversial information) is notable. This "gap" subject was, for cultural, societal or other reasons, found to be a notable as a topic of discussion in its article approval.
- However, if such a statistic is provided here, propagating it, I will object to it—on the practical basis of its being a statistic that is subjective and impossible to verify (and if reported, immediately subject to becoming dated), and on the further basis of WP guidelines on BLP content, see the Inclusion criteria in Wikipedia:Avoiding_harm, on Encyclopedic content in Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not, and on what it takes to violate WP:Harm (avoiding harm), via objectification. (I would object to inclusion of the measurement of the length or girth of the Schwanz of males of the species, for both of the same reasons.) I would probably boldly revert addition of the statistic, as a logged editor, confident of the needed consensus.
- The exception would be (the unfortunate case): if clear evidence could be offered that the statistic mentioned had become a standard descriptive parameter within the fashion industry, as have height and other gross body measurements. Inclusion of even these is ludicrous, because such information is immediate subject to being dated and inaccurate, e.g., subject to this.[needs update] However, these dimensions, though problematic, are standard, and very widely reported in that industry. The proposed further statistic is not. Le Prof 71.201.62.200 (talk) 12:56, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

beatboxing genius plus
Cara has quickly shown incomparable genius in many different styles of beatboxing (percussion mouth sounds usually many times with rapping) and makes experienced black rappers nearly swoon. This can be seen quickly in online videos q.v. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVO7-L9-pkQ (dozens of others); also, Cara is a substantial flamingo guitar player with excellent beginning skills. Adding St. Vincent as partner in infobox
Hi as St Vincent has been Cara Delevingnes partner for quite a while, I was wondering could it be approved to add this information to the infobox as this information has been confirmed by both parties involved? Dean1997 (talk) 19:36, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hello, Dean. Thank you for opening a discussion instead of making the change yourself. I oppose noting St. Vincent as Ms. Delevingne's partner in the infobox. The
|partner=
field is usually understood to be about unmarried life partners, not ordinary dating relationships, and the cited coverage only supports that St. Vincent is Ms. Delevingne's girlfriend.[1] Rebbing 21:22, 8 June 2016 (UTC) - As explained in the other discussion you've started on this topic, we do not use that parameter the way you want to. You can certainly start a higher level discussion at the village pump, but we are not going to go against the general consensus here and imply their relationship is other than simply dating, no matter how many times you add it (and evade blocks with socks). - SummerPhDv2.0 22:28, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Sexuality
Although Cara has previously identified as bisexual in the past, she has most recently referred to herself as pansexual in an interview (link here), so I believe the part of Cara's article referencing her as being bisexual should be updated to fit her recent statements about her sexuality. I decided not to make this change myself since I was unsure of how to word it and I would also like to hear others' thoughts about it. --Redandsymmetry (talk) 17:24, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

Family tree/ancestry
Is that really necessary? It's pretty jarring as the first thing to be shoved into one's face, and how is it relevant enough to be given this much room anyway? I understand listing parents, and maybe more removed relatives if they had a direct influence on the person, but apart from that the grandparents can be listed on the parents' pages respectively, if at all noteworthy, and so on. Is there a rule that applies here? Opinions? --79.202.104.78 (talk) 00:34, 9 December 2019 (UTC)

Ancestry
So just to avoid a potential edit war, i've decided to setup a discussion here. Now User:Drmies, I am of course assuming you made these edits in good faith but it may be a tad coincidental that the day where many people on twitter were disparaging Cara Delevingne's "peg the patriarchy" message due to growing up in aristocracy with rich aristocratic ancestors that you decided to remove all mentions of her famous ancestors as "fluff". But as per the biographies of living persons page, any mention of notable relatives in a famous persons article is fair game if it is sourced correctly. If the relatives were not notable in the slightest, you would be 100% right to remove them. But I see no reason why all mentions of notable ancestors should be purged from the article. I can agree with you about godparents and others but I think grandparents and great grandparents, especially those as notable as Hamar Greenwood, 1st Viscount Greenwood should not be omitted. Stevenbfg (talk) 14:29, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, that was her? I think notable ancestors should be mentioned if it is in any way relevant, and the relevance should be proven by reliable sources. For all I know I'm descended of St Boniface, but even if that were proven, what would it mean? This whole section read like ancestry fetishism. Do the grandparents have proven relevance to her life? If someone grew up in a spooky castle because their grandparent was a prince, maybe. Or if someone is printer, and they come from a long line of printers--sure. But do we have any of that here? Because if it remains as a mention, as a bare factoid, then how is it relevant? "It's sourced" just isn't the way we write encyclopedic articles. If it's sourced and that's all there is to it, we get abominations like this, Leopold_II_of_Belgium#Honours. So if you can make the argument for this or that fact or ancestor, and write it out, and if the grounds for relevance are made clear by secondary sources, then I am ALL for it (the Twitter context does not do that--for primary reasons of course, but it's worth pondering if that aristocratic background as written up in our article isn't also a cause for that specific abuse.) Thanks, Drmies (talk) 16:20, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
- BTW I see that Ymblanter semi-protected the article in 2017 already (which is fine with me), and that probably staved off a lot of potential BLP violations. Twitter is an awful thing. Drmies (talk) 16:23, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

You have added a couple of lines at the end of Other Ventures, about Cara's series Planet Sex. For some reason you have provided a link (95) to Episode 4 on BBC iPlayer, and - despite all six (6) episodes being featured - state that there are four episodes in the series. In the other link you have added (96) - to an Evening Standard article - it also mentions that there are six episodes. This article also states that the series is a co-production with US 'streaming giant ' Hulu; as I mentioned yesterday, the hulu version is slightly different to the BBC one. You haven't included the information that Cara (with sisters Chloe and Poppy) launched Della Vite Prosecco wines - vegan, award-winning and sustainably produced - in 2020; arguably this could also go under Other Ventures.
