Quote from a differen dicussion:
[edit]The film Captain Boycott (UK, 1947, dir. Frank Launder) was believed by many at the time of its production to use Boycott's story as a metaphor for attempts by Hollywood to defeat import duties on films imposed by the UK government in 1947, by refusing to allow any Hollywood films into Britain until they were rescinded. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.134.28.194 (talk) 09:30, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Title
[edit]The title of the article is problematic, the primary use of "Captain Boycott" is the person Charles_Boycott, as evidenced by a google search. I propose that this article be renamed Captain Boycott (film), and Captain Boycott redirect to Charles Boycott. Quasihuman | Talk 14:15, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
