The "ship vs. lighthouse" story is a bogus hoax that has been added to many articles about ships and lighthouses. For more info, see: Lighthouse and naval vessel urban legend. Meanwhile, stop trying to add it here, it will be removed. - wolf 07:28, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It might be better to add a short blurb about the famous lighhouse joke, along with a good source that debunks it, and a link to the Wikipedia article on tje legend. BilCat (talk) 23:41, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
