Potential error in canoe slalom and kayak slalom
[edit]hello, i think there is a mistake in quota allocation - canoe slalom and kayak slalom for women. The issue concerns Poland. Based on canoe federation rules: - one athlete can obtain one quota - canoe quotas are allocated first an then kayak quotas - WC quotas and European Games quota are allocated at the same time. The EG quota is reallocated based on WC results. Moving on to the issue - Poland finished outside top 20 in WC with no qualification in C1 women slalom. But gets quota fron European Games where Zwolińska finished second as first Germany qualified based on WC result - remmber canoe quotas are allocated first. When it comes to K1 Zwolińska got a bronze but cannot obtain another qualification. But Poland qualifies thanks to Pacierpnik finishing fourth in EG as first three places ( Germany, Poland - Zwolinska and Czechia) do not count. Apart from that every K1 quota earns another one in a cross both men and women. Effectively Poland has six qualifications and nit three. 2A02:A312:C842:B80:2DD5:F4E2:8FEA:7FE9 (talk) 18:06, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Men's C-2 500m from AIN are Russian
[edit]As already stated in the AIN participation page, the canoeists from the C-2 500m are both Russian, not Belarusian, so the AIN quota earned later in C-1 by a third Russian should be then allocated to Spain, as Russia can't earn more than two quota in men's canoe at the European qualifier.
