Too USA centric.

[edit]

"Canned diced tomatoes are primarily used in Italian-American cuisine. They are generally available in two sizes, regular (roughly 2 cm or 7/8 in) for long-cooked dishes and petite (roughly 1 cm) for quicker applications." From a world wide point of view this is just rubbish. Why should it be about tinned tomatoes in the USA? The article may be written in USA English, but it is not about tinned tomatoes in the USA. That would be a separate article or subsection called "Canned Tomatoes in the USA". Also diced tomatoes are called Chopped tomatoes in the UK.
