Talk:Cannaceae

Since Canna (article under Canna (plant)) is the sole genus in Cannaceae, the two articles should be merged. No time to do it now but I would suggest merging all under the Cannaceae article, with Canna (genus), Canna (plant) and Canna lily (ugh) all redirecting to Cannaceae. (The unqualified "Canna" should be disambiguated, although I would contend that the Canna (plant) is far better known than the island named Canna.) MrDarwin 17:51, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
